proof-of-individuality for crypto basic income
August 22, 2015
"A problem for these blockchain basic income systems is their vulnerability to what is called a "Sybil attack": With no obvious way of confirming who is who, one person could claim the payouts for multiple accounts. This is a defining challenge for basic income schemes based on crypto-currencies, and some have addressed it more convincingly than others. "

The cryptoUBI community has yet to come up with a way to prevent people from claiming multiple basic incomes. (1) There's a lot of ideas in circulation, some better then others, but no one has actually developed a finished product. Three days ago, I came across a new type of ID system that I had never thought of before. The ID by itself has some weaknesses, but those are prevented if combined with the reward of basic income. This makes this ID an almost perfect proof-of-individuality for crypto basic income.
I came to discover the idea through a proposal on forum.ethereum.org, http://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/1064/proposal-for-a-1-on-1-identity-system-protocol/p1
I started a reddit-thread about it yesterday,

And a concept-website, http://proofofindividuality.tk/
I'm reaching out to the cryptoUBI community to hear what you think. Let's inter-connect and mind-meld.
